The background

WA property group Hawaiian and Hilton have undertaken a $45 million investment into the Perth CBD property, Parmelia Hilton Perth. The refurbishment has been designed to enhance the guest experience with a revitalised lobby, modern guest rooms and bathrooms, the addition of an executive lounge and a proposed connection to the neighbouring Brookfield Place precinct.

Room inventory will also increase from 284 to 309 rooms and suites. Built in the late 1960s, Hilton commenced leasing the property in 1979 and retained management of the hotel after Hawaiian assumed ownership in 1993. The hotel last underwent a major redevelopment in 1999 and continued to invest with minor refurbishment to rooms, conference, event facilities, and the food and beverage offering between 2012 – 2015.

Our solution

Alerton Australia was awarded the BMS upgrade in early 2020. The works consist of a full replacement of BMS including the guest room control with the “Inncom” guest room system. Improving the guest experience while capturing energy savings with smart in-room technology. Parmelia Hilton is one of Perth’s iconic hotels, considered by many as Perth’s best-positioned business hotel.

This is the first Alerton project using the Honeywell Inncom Hotel Room System, as well as the upgrade of the CHW plant and base building HVAC and controls. Using Westmech as our Mech Elec subcontractor.
