Caselden Place is a 40 Story, A grade commercial office building  in Melbourne's CBD. it was the first building in Victoria to be accredited as a telco friendly building.

In 2002 the building Automation System was upgraded from a Siemens/ Landis "System 600" to Alerton BACtalk. The new system's scope includes control of lighting, mechanical services and sophisticated demand management, significantly reducing energy consumption. This reduced the total building maximum demand from 3.2MW to 1.9MW.

The system           is one of the most state of the art installations in  the Southern hemisphere and includes features such as an Interactive Voice Response (IVR)system, Dual Ethernet network and CISCO  system.
