The Alerton BACtalk system - building automation equipment was installed in over 50 buildings of the University of New South Wales. It  runs on the University WAN and provides control and monitoring of air conditioning, lighting, gas, electricity and water consumption.

The Alerton BACtalk automation and management system has been installed in numerous projects undertaken at the university including a complete library building retrofit and campus wide energy metering and lighting control.
