Project: Greater Southern Area Health Services, NSW

The Greater Southern Area comprises the Southern NSW and Riverina areas. The challenge of supporting the facilities in this significant geographical area was met by providing extensive control and monitoring of the services throughout the building automation system – systems at each location are linked via the health authority’s secure internal network. Utilising Alerton’s web-based automation and energy management system, the operations staff have full access and control for monitoring at any location, via web browsers, on the GSAHS network.

Scope: Implementation of a fully integrated building automation system for multiple locations using the open BACnet^® protocol. This provides event management with reporting and routing of critical alarms and events.
